Zeeverse — The World Just Got Wilder
Something Wild Has Awakened
Zees are no longer confined to dungeons. They’re out there, roaming free — and now you can challenge them directly.
This update introduces Wild Zees, a new way to engage in fast-paced battles in the open world. And for the first time, if your entire team falls… your shaman falls with them.
Wild Zees: Instant Combat
Click on a wild Zee, and your follower jumps into battle. These fights are fully automated, run at double speed, and lock you in until one side wins. No UI. No menus. Just your Zee, theirs, and whatever happens next.
Only one player can fight a Wild Zee at a time, but others can walk up and watch.
Wild Zees show their level above their heads and use base stats that scale with level. If your active Zee goes down, the next one steps in. You can also swap followers mid-fight — quick decisions matter.
Beat them, and they drop loot before vanishing. Lose, and the Wild Zee resets and walks away like nothing happened.
Every hour a rare Wild Zee spawns — stronger, but offers greater rewards upon defeat.
Persistent HP: The Fight Doesn’t End When It Ends
Zees now keep their HP after battles — whether it’s from a dungeon or a Wild Zee fight. They don’t magically heal between encounters.
Healing now comes from:
- Dragging cooked fish onto your Zee
- Using healing abilities
Moving a Zee into your Collection also fully heals it — but only then.
No more auto-healing safety net. You’ll need to think ahead.
Death of a Shaman
If every Zee in your active team is wiped out, you die.
You’ll respawn at the Village, but your off-chain items? Gone (well, not yet!)— dropped on the ground inside a Tombstone.
- Only you can loot it for the first 3 minutes
- After that, anyone can
- After 6 minutes, it’s gone for good
Dropped something valuable? Better hope you make it back in time — or that no one else gets there first.
You can also manually drop items now, which creates a Tombstone using the same rules!
Sanctuary
Team management has been moved into the world. The old UI is gone — to change your team, set your follower, or view your collection, you’ll need to visit the Sanctuary. Simple, grounded, and built to tie team setup into world interaction.
Choose your fights carefully, Shamans!
